Melbourne, Australia Advanced Business Abilities Full time

Do you have experience in physical trades/labourer roles and are looking to upskill and learn something new?

Do you enjoy a varied role that is physical and also involves exceptional interpersonal skills? Liaising with clients, site contacts, and team members to get the job done?

Are you tech savvy and can easily navigate use of smartphones and laptops and can pick up new software quickly?

Do you love a role that is physically demanding and keeps you active?

Are you the type of person who places customer satisfaction first? Going above and beyond to ensure the job is expertly executed so the client is happy?

If so, then we’d love to hear from you.

Our client is an Australian based ASX listed company providing solar based surveillance and security solutions. They’re at the forefront of technology, utilising AI to completely negate any necessity for human intervention with their systems. They offer a far more efficient, effective, and flexible solution to the security needs of local governments, communities, businesses, and people.

They’re industry leaders, and proudly Australian owned, operated, and manufactured. They’ve been around for 12 years, and in that time they’ve fostered a great team atmosphere and company culture. They operate with integrity and rely on open communication in the team. And now they’re excited for the opportunity to welcome their next team member on board.

They’re looking for their next Field Technician to join their growing team. This is a role that will involve quite a bit of physical labour as you will be installing and maintaining their equipment at sites throughout the region.

While prior experience in the electrical or security fields is favourable it is not required. There will be plenty of training provided, as well as support from the rest of the team. So if you're a trades assistant looking to expand your skillset, you've come to the right place

For the right person, this role offers the opportunity to work autonomously in a role that involves some physical labour, personal interaction, and attention to detail.

**If this sounds like you, and you’d like to apply, here’s what you’ll be saying yes to**:
Installing and maintaining our equipment at various locations throughout your region. This includes: Ensuring that all pre-start access requirements, mobilisations, authorisations, inductions and permits are obtained and followed
Pole installation which includes mixing and placement of concrete for supporting poles
Physical installation and servicing of our electronic systems
Providing excellent customer service through high levels of integrity, professionalism, and communication
Traveling throughout the region from site to site
Adhering to all HS&E guidelines and requirements
Working within a team and communicating with them regularly
Maintaining a positive attitude
Completing job sheets and any other necessary paperwork for each job

**And here is what we require from you**:
Technically minded
Great work ethic
Excellent communication and customer service
Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
Valid driver’s license
Quick learner, able to pick up new skills easily
Desire and ability to do physical labour

We look forward to hearing from you
