**About the Role**

Join our team as a FaPMI Coordinator on a part time (0.52/21hrs per week FTE) ongoing basis. The position will be based in Dandenong and cover the Casey/Cardinia area and is available to a suitably experienced social worker, occupational therapist, psychologist, or registered psychiatric nurse. The successful applicant will need access their own vehicle to drive between sites.

Working in a team of FaPMI Coordinators and Community Workers for Children and Young People (‘CYP Workers’), this roles is responsible for building service capacity to respond effectively to families where parents / guardians have a mental illness. This will be achieved this through the development and implementation of procedures and clinical guidelines, staff consultation, training and education, and building partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.

The FaPMI Program works across all Mental Health Program areas, and this role has a specific focus on the Casey/Cardinia service area. This role will also be responsible for the day to day leadership of the Casey/Cardinia CYP Worker.

**About Us**

**About You**

You will have significant experience as a mental health clinician, and a passion for family inclusive practice. You will have a deep understanding of the Victorian public mental health system, and knowledge of how the mental health reforms relate to the FaPMI program and it’s strategic priorities.

To fulfil the role you will demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills in developing procedures and guidelines, report writing, and presentations. You have experience in project leadership, and proven abilities in delivering organisational change in policy and clinical practice.

This role requires applicants to have **one** of the following qualifications:

- **Social Work**: Bachelor of Social Work or Masters Social Work Qualifying OR Master of Social Work, OR equivalent as assessed and approved by the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW), and 7 years’ post qualifying experience, or
- **Occupational Therapy**:Bachelor of Occupational Therapist or Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) or equivalent, with current general registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and 7 years’ post qualifying experience, or
- **Psychology**:Appropriate post-graduate qualifications (Masters or Doctoral Degree) in clinical/neuropsychology or forensic psychology from an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) accredited course, with current general registration as a psychologist with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Authority (AHPRA), and a minimum of 5 years’ experience working in the relevant field at a minimum P2 (or equivalent) level
- **Nursing**:Registered with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia via AHPRA, Post Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing (or completion of a specialist undergraduate psychiatric nursing program or specialist post basic course of training which led to registration as a Division 3 nurse), and a minimum of 5 years’ post graduate experience in mental health nursing
