**Duties and tasks required include**:

- Installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and diagnosing issues with microwave, telemetry, multiplexing, satellite, and other radio and electromagnetic communication systems.
- Configuring and integrating network and telecommunications technologies with computer software, hardware, desktops, peripherals, databases, and operating systems.
- Developing and maintaining detailed records, including logs of inventory, parts, equipment, and instruments, while ensuring up-to-date documentation of communication policies, procedures, guidelines, regulations, and quality standards.
- Offering technical guidance and monitoring the performance of complex telecommunications networks and systems.
- Planning and overseeing the development of customer access telecommunications network infrastructure.
- Coordinating with vendors, suppliers, service providers, and external resources, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and performance requirements.
- Providing continuous operational support by designing, optimizing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving telecommunications network performance issues, defects, and faults.

**Qualifications and requirements**:
Tertiary or Diploma qualifications in Telecommunications, IT, Engineering, or related discipline or more than 3 years of relevant work experience

- 8 hour shift
