**Description**:
Cavallo Park Stud (Trading) Pty Ltd is currently seeking highly experienced and capable staff to join our team.

Positions are **full-time** and available in Hawkesbury NSW.
- **Horse Trainer/Breeding - Foreperson**
- Overseeing daily care and supervision of horses
- Educating and preparing young stock for sale
- Early education of foals and weanlings
- Monitoring mare ovulation and pregnancy
- Assisting Veterinarians with ultrasound/reproduction examination including assisting in birthing foals and administering medical treatment to foals

The salary will be above three occupations will be above award - in the range of **$75,000 - $77,000**per annum depending upon the skill and level of responsibility.

**Essential Skills**:
All applicants must have a minimum of 3-years full time professional experience in the role, or at least 2 years full time highly relevant experience and a relevant qualification.

In addition, the following will be required:

- A Certificate III or equivalent international qualification, or in the absence of a qualification a minimum of three years’ professional full-time experience educating and training horses
- A minimum of two years’ equivalent full-time experience handling and working with and educating thoroughbred horses
- Knowledge and experience of horse training and handling methods specific to thoroughbreds, including stallions, sales or breeding
- Proven ability to train and educate young horses
- Oral and written communication skills of a level to take instruction; provide information and advice to others and prepare basic reports
- Knowledge of safe operation of all equipment and use of personal protective equipment
- Sound knowledge of health and safety obligations and demonstrated skills in safe operation of equipment relevant to the training and preparation of horses
