Yulong Stud is experiencing an exciting period of growth, and with the addition of a new horse truck to our fleet, we’re seeking an experienced Equine Truck Driver to join our team at our prestigious stud farm in Nagambie, Victoria.

This full-time role offers a great opportunity for someone with a passion for the thoroughbred industry to play a key part in transporting horses safely and efficiently. You’ll be working Monday to Friday with rotating weekends, and occasional overtime will be required during the busy breeding season. On days without scheduled movements, you’ll assist with general stud duties.

Your duties would include but not be limited to:

- Transporting horses safely and efficiently between farms, veterinary clinics, and other locations
- Maintaining accurate truck logbooks and ensuring all documentation is up to date
- Keeping the truck clean, well-maintained, and in good working order
- Reporting any incidents, defects, or maintenance needs promptly
- Assisting with general stud duties on non-transport days to support farm operations

To succeed in this role, you will have:

- Previous experience as an equine truck driver
- A clean driving record with a strong understanding of truck driving regulations
- A valid truck driver’s license
- Proven experience handling horses of all ages and genders
- A reliable, safe and hardworking nature with a keen eye for detail
- Strong communication skills and a professional, well-presented attitude
