**Description**:
Situated within our Village of Friends, a unique independent living community that offers a relaxing and wellness-focused lifestyle and is beautifully positioned by the waters of Moreton Bay at Scarborough. We have on-site parking available and a bus service close to the entrance of the Village. This role provides direct support to Village Management in day-to-day Village operations and forms an integral part of the Village Team and the Village Community who deliver services that are responsive, timely and empowering in a safe and supportive environment to residents to facilitate independent living, health, wellness, and happiness. You will have the opportunity for promoting a culture of excellence and positivity that attracts and retains staff and customers. Building and maintaining positive effective relationships with key stakeholders involved in the provision of aged and community services including referral partners, health services, brokerage partners and clinical/ allied health providers.

**About your role**:
Village Operations Support is responsible for ensuring that the operations of the Village are carried out in a safe and efficient manner that positively contributes to the well-being, happiness, and security of BallyCara Residents.

Village Operations consists of providing daily hands-on support to Residents of BallyCara Assisted Living and supporting the day-to-day operations of the facility while keeping your eye out for improvements and changes to contribute to the growth of the AL. Having control of managing maintenance requests and requirements for the Assisted Living space, including all housekeeping and daily linen changes in the Assisted Living and Village. You will have the opportunity for getting your daily excercise with the running and daily upkeep of the Assisted Living facility. At meal times, you will be there to help out with the meal service for the residents. This is a complete service we are providing and you will be integral to the smooth running of this program.

This is where your administration skills will now be needed as you will need to complete all documentation in relation to services and support to consumers, ensuring that all resident calls are answered in a timely manner and appropriate action is taken. Your skills will also be needed to complete minor administration tasks as directed by the Village General Manager (VGM) and Assistant Village General Manager (AVGM).
