**About the Role**
We’re seeking a dedicated Disability Support Worker to assist a warm and engaging woman in her 60s who lives with chronic pain and requires various levels of support throughout her day. This role involves working closely with someone who values meaningful conversations, humor, a calm, confident presence and belief in Christian faith.

You’ll provide essential support for physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs by:

- Assisting with daily living tasks, including cooking, cleaning, errands, and meal prep.
- Offering advocacy and social/emotional support to enhance her sense of independence and well-being.
- Maintaining a home environment that meets her high standards and attention to detail.
- Respecting and supporting her Christian beliefs and spiritual practices.
- Responding calmly and professionally to infrequent crisis situations.
- Ability to drive to Randwick if required for medical care

Shifts are typically 6 hours, starting at 10 AM and due to increase to 8-9hours mid January 2025. The ability to work an occasional evening or inactive sleepover shifts as needed is required.

- Experience in supporting individuals with chronic pain, mental health conditions, or psychosocial disabilities.
- **You are a team player and good communicator**:

- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Disability) or similar qualification (preferred).

**What You'll Need**
- Reliable car with air conditioning and comprehensive insurance.
- Smartphone for managing schedules and client needs (training provided).
- Current Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening, Police Check, and Driver’s License.
- Experience in SIL, community-based, or private residential support highly desirable.
- First Aid certification preferred.
