**Our Client**

Operating for over 30 years our client came from humble beginnings and is now a thriving multi-divisional business comprising a development, construction and Real Estate arm to their offering.

With over 780 apartments currently available for sale, and an incredibly strong pipeline in final negotiation and DA stage, their growth has created an exciting, long-term opportunity for someone to join their team.

**Duties**

Our client is looking for a competent Construction Foreman to structure, including formwork and steel fixing, and the ability to then follow on with fit out operations and oversee workers. As the point of reference of both workers and supervisors, you will be a key person for the completion of a project in Sydney’s Western Suburbs
- Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans
- Produce schedules and monitor attendance of subcontractors
- Allocate general and daily responsibilities
- Supervise and train workers and tradespeople
- Ensure manpower and resources are adequate
- Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met
- Supervise the use of machinery and equipment
- Monitor expenditure and ensure it remains within budget
- Resolve problems when they arise
- Report on progress to the site manager and other key personnel

**Specific requirements**
- Proven experience as construction foreman
- In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and WHS guidelines
- Understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems
- Ability to read drawings, plans and have an understanding of BCA and NCC
- Excellent organisational, problem-solving and leadership skills
- Ability to communicate and report effectively
- Aptitude in Word Excel and be able to produce 3 weekly programmes
- Skilled trade background in carpentry preferable.
- Fluent Chinese language skills (essential) - will be required to manage 1-2 Chinese-based contractors)
