Overview
We are seeking motivated and experienced Forepersons and Senior Forepersons to join a growing construction team with an exciting pipeline of Class 2 apartment projects. Multiple roles are available, providing an opportunity for several candidates to join the team.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will play a key part in delivering high-quality residential projects on time and to budget. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of daily site operations, ensuring trades are coordinated efficiently, program milestones are met, and safety, quality, and compliance standards are upheld. You will work closely with the Site Manager and Project Manager to deliver projects efficiently and maintain high standards across all areas of construction.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate trades, manage daily site operations, and ensure program milestones are achieved
- Oversee structure works, pour days, scaffolding, form-work, and material handling, including crane operations
- Manage finishing trades, subcontractors, and on-site workflows to maintain schedule and quality
- Monitor progress, maintain accurate site records, and report to senior management
- Lead by example, enforcing QA, WHS, and environmental standards
- Mentor cadets and junior forepersons in construction methodology and quality assurance
- Liaise with site managers, consultants, authorities, and safety officers as required

Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience as a Foreperson or Senior Foreperson (junior forepersons with strong trade experience are encouraged to apply)
- Strong understanding of structure and finishes in multi-unit residential construction
- Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience managing subcontractors and site teams effectively
- Proficiency with basic computer applications (Excel, Word, Project)
- Proactive, team-oriented attitude with a commitment to safety and quality
