**About the opportunity**:
Lutheran Services is a multi-disciplinary human services organisation that has been serving the people and communities of Queensland since 1935. We provide quality, contemporary support services for older people, young people and their families, people living with a disability or mental illness, and families experiencing domestic violence and hardship. Today, we serve many metropolitan, regional, and rural communities from more than 20 sites throughout Queensland-from Tallebudgera to Rockhampton.
Our People & Culture and WHS service is evolving as we build our abilities and reputation in providing integrated people and culture, employee relations, and safety and well-being services. We are now pleased to offer an opportunity for an Advisor to specifically enhance our injury management offering, whilst also bringing complementary skills and experience to contribute across employee relations and work health and safety.
**About the role**:
The role supports the implementation of our organisation’s People frameworks that enable a safe and positive working environment. In this position you will support leaders and employees in their responsibilities and obligations through a contemporary partnership approach including provision of advice, training, monitoring, and reporting.
As we strive to provide effective and integrated people and culture services, this position will work collaboratively with other team members to draw together skills, experience and knowledge so that we can maximise the value we add to the organisation, its services and the impact on our clients in the community.
**About you**:
You will enjoy the opportunity to develop ways of working with your colleagues that ensure we provide well-informed, rigorous, and effective advice and other services to our stakeholders within and outside the organisation. We welcome self-motivated and energetic people who will help us continue to build better ways to do things to ensure we thrive through change.
To supplement your relevant tertiary qualifications and /work experience, you can demonstrate your success in using an advisory and coaching approach to work with people managers and leaders to effect mutually beneficial outcomes that align with organisational values. You will work well in an environment that provides a mix of “business as usual” responsibilities as well as leading or contributing to project-based programs of work.
This role will suit someone who understands that our organisation exists to provide caring services to people - and we in our roles in People & Culture exist to support that. We will offer you generous salary packaging options and employee benefits, and we will support flexibility around what matters to you most. We’re looking forward to welcoming and embracing what you will bring
