Injury Management Advisor

Due to internal movement a new opportunity has become available. Downer are seeking an Injury Management Advisor, based in our Milton Office Brisbane. As an individual working within a high-performing national team you will support Downer's Queensland region in providing effective Injury Management for workplace injury claims.
Reporting to the Group Manager - Injury Management the role will have several focus areas:
- Strategic management of injuries and claims portfolio;
- Working with a variety of stakeholders within the business;
- Assist with providing coaching and training for line manager and supervisor;
- Day to day management of lodging and administering claims.
**ABOUT YOU**:
- Several years’ experience in a similar role;
- Working knowledge of Workers Compensation and Injury Management Queensland legislation;
- Development and drive of injury management initiatives;
- Development and drive of claims management strategies;
- Development of return to work plans
- Strong communication, time management and problem solving skills.
- Team oriented.
