Our sport participation programs aim to foster a safe and welcoming experience inclusive to all students, staff, and community members. We are currently seeking a dynamic **Sport and Recreation Programs Coordinator **to oversee the efficiency and effective implementation and management of our sport participation programs.

**Your New Role**

As the **Sport and Recreation Programs Coordinator**, you’ll be at the heart of Curtin Stadium’s on-campus sport and recreation participation programs. This role is central to our mission of creating inclusive, engaging, and diverse sports experiences that enrich student life and foster a vibrant campus community.

**In this role, you will**:

- **Lead Program Coordination**: Oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of a broad range of sports and recreation programs, ensuring that all initiatives are inclusive, accessible, and reflect the diversity of our student body.
- **Governance and Administration**: Provide essential administrative support, including planning and policy development, statistical reporting, and budget management, to drive efficient and effective program delivery.
- **Safety and Compliance**: Work to ensure all activities are safe, fully compliant, and conducted according to Curtin’s standards.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Monitor program effectiveness through regular evaluations, feedback, and adjustments, enhancing participant experience and supporting the sustainable growth of our sports programs.

**To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Have**:

- Relevant qualifications and/or 3-years experience in sport, recreation, events, or a related field.
- Proven experience in program coordination, budgeting, and competition management.
- Strong organisational and time management skills to handle multiple programs effectively.
- A commitment to fostering an inclusive environment and experience in working with diverse communities.
- Excellent communication and people management skills, with the ability to lead and guide teams.

**Key Requirements**:

- A level of fitness commensurate with the position.
- Ability to work outside of normal office hours when required.
- Working with Children Check (WWC) provide a valid WWCC card in accordance with University Policy.
- Current First Aid Certificate.
