**Scheduling Officer Home Care**

Bodewell community care is seeking a full time scheduling officer who thrives on problem solving and prides themselves on their attention to every little detail. If you would like to work in a fast-paced environment where no two days are alike this job is for you.

**About the role**:
Your duties will be matching clients with staff according to preferences, working hours, availabilities, location, and cultural needs while maintaining effective travel distances between clients and workers. Your role will provide day to day support for clients in relation to changes to care services, answer queries with Invoicing/rosters/visits and general communication.

**About you**:
As our Home Care Scheduler, you will be responsible for creating meaningful rosters which allow our clients to have consistent and reliability. Great customer service is a must, as is a sense of humour You will need to have good compute skills and have an understanding that you will be faced with some challenges and making sure that the challenges will be solved in a timely manner. You must have a general interest in customer service and be genuine when speaking to our clients and staff.

**To be successful you will need to have**:

- High aptitude for learning new databases
- Strong problem-solving skills
- High degree of proficiency in general administration and computer skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Great communication skills and natural empathy
- Ability to build rapport with our staff
- Excellent negotiations skills
- NDIS screening check
- Proof of all covid vaccinations

**Desirable**:

- A background in aged care or disability care would be highly regarded
- Previous experience as a scheduler for in home care
- Experience in providing phone support to customers
- **_All successful applicants will be required to be fully vaccinated against Covid as an inherent requirement of the role._**:
