**Your new role**
Reporting to the Manager, Technology Risk Management, the Technology Risk Analyst is a key member of AustralianSuper’s Technology Risk Management team. You will be instrumental in improving practices across compliance and risk. This will include policies, frameworks and processes to ensure compliance with our technology mandates and regulatory obligations. The role will also be responsible for driving and monitoring outcomes as a means of uplifting the control environment, remediating findings, and responding to incidents, with the objective of supporting management of the Technology Services risk profile.
Some key responsibilities but not limited to;
- Actively manage risk on a day-to-day basis including ensuring that technology risks are identified, defined and that actions are implemented to ensure effective mitigation of technology risks.
- Review existing risks, controls, compliance obligations, and actions recorded in the enterprise risk management tool
- Escalate risks, control weaknesses, and incidents that are unmitigated or outside the Fund’s established Risk Appetite.
- Prepare reports for various risk-related forums to discuss relevant short and long-term trends, performance and specific projects, risks, opportunities, and challenges.
- Engage with business stakeholders on a regular basis to develop and maintain internal relationships across all levels of the Fund.
- Analyse GRC data to provide insights into trends and pain points to identify root causes and systemic issues.
**What you’ll need**
- 2+ years’ experience in IT management and/or risk management, ideally working in the Financial Services, Investment Management and / or Superannuation areas.
- **Experience with (GRC) Governance, risk management and compliance tools such as Archer.**:
- Experience with risk considerations across a range of security domains and technologies. including cloud, data protection, identity and access management, vulnerability management, encryption endpoints, network, and perimeter controls.
- Working with business stakeholders to understand problems to be solved, provide advice, and define solutions to meet business requirements.
- Regulated industry experience, ideally in financial services.
- Knowledge of risk and compliance frameworks.
- Strong reporting, analytical skills and attention to detail.
