An exciting fixed term opportunity to join our team and play an important role in the Victorian Academy of Teaching and Leadership (Academy).
In 2021, the Minister for Education announced the investment of $148.2 million in developing the Academy - a new statutory authority.

The purpose of the Professional Learning Partnerships (PLP) team is to lead a team that delivers targeted professional learning to diverse participants aligned to the Academy's remit and current suite of professional learning. This is aligned with the Department's system architecture through identifying and securing strategic partnerships that align to the Academy's objectives and functions.
This position requires the successful applicant to demonstrate a high level of thought leadership in educational leadership and excellence and program management experience to drive evidence informed practice. This will ensure a consistency of delivery, understanding of the organisational context including schools and Regions and cross disciplinary alignment with other programs to promote continuous improvement.

**Key accountabilities for this role include**:
- People management and leadership
- Contract and procurement management
- Thought leadership and expert advice in educational leadership and excellence
- Program and project management
- Strategic and business planning and reporting
The department's COVID-19 Vaccination Policy requires employees to have an up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination (in most cases, 3 doses) and provide evidence of their vaccination status (including exceptions), to work outside their home, either at a department worksite or another employer's workplace. For this role, you are required to provide proof of your up-to-date vaccination status as part of the recruitment process prior to commencement of employment. This role requires onsite attendance at one or more department work locations.
