- Full-time, Continuing position- Salary Level HEW 9 ($130,748 - $140,089 p.a.) + 17% Superannuation and Flexible Working Arrangements- Based at Point Cook campus, but may be required to work and/or be based at other campuses of the University

- Are you passionate about transforming education through innovation and industry collaboration? We’re looking for a strategic, forward-thinking leader to join the RMIT Aviation Academy as Manager, Learning Innovation and Industry Partnerships.

About the Role
As the Manager, Learning Innovation and Industry Partnerships, you will drive the development and delivery of innovative, practice-based programs that meet the evolving needs of the aviation sector. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners, you'll lead the co-design and commercialisation of innovative, practice-based learning programs in partnership with industry, ensuring RMIT remains at the forefront of aviation education.

Working across RMIT’s Colleges, central portfolios, and with external partners, you will drive the development of flexible and modular learning pathways that align with emerging workforce needs. You will be responsible for leading strategic partnership development and business development activities that convert opportunities into impactful, revenue-generating teaching products.

What You’ll Bring- Significant industry experience in developing and leading training and education partnerships within the aviation sector.- A proven track record in designing and implementing innovative, flexible learning models that address current and future workforce demands.- Strong project management and organisational skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities.- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships with senior stakeholders.- Demonstrated commercial acumen, including experience with business development, proposal writing, and converting opportunities into successful programs.- A strong understanding of quality assurance and compliance frameworks in vocational or higher education.- A genuine passion for lifelong learning and improving student outcomes, alongside a deep commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion.- A relevant tertiary qualification and extensive professional experience in education, business development, or a related discipline.
- Qualifications:

- A tertiary qualification with relevant experience and/or a combination of education, training and significant experience will be required.
