**We are looking for a Business Partner, Learning & Organisational Development to join our State Government client**
**7 month contract with view to extend**
**Sydney Olympic Park/WFH**
**Up to $72 per hour + Super**
**Primary purpose of the role**
Partner with the business to deliver effective, innovative and inclusive people management practices, frameworks and solutions that build leadership and workforce capability and create an engaging and positive
workplace.
**Key accountabilities**
- Lead initiatives and partner with the business to provide expert advice on a range of People & Culture related activities.
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to build strong stakeholder relationships and engagement to monitor HR and/or WHS principles across the agency to increase the effectiveness and delivery of our people strategy thus creating a positive employee experience.
- Lead, project manage and implement initiatives to increase the effectiveness and capability of our staff
and people leaders to successfully deliver key outcomes for the agency and achieve individual goals.
- Lead the development and review of briefs, written reports, policies, procedures and guidelines whilst ensuring these are comprehensive, informative and provide data & insight on a range of people & culture and/or WHS matters.
- Develop and manage systems to support all staff, Managers and the Executive Team with the delivery
of seamless and integrated human resources and WHS frameworks and approaches.
- Partner with the business to understand, develop / source and deliver fit for purpose programs,
including learning & development, whilst creating practical tools and resources that support our
workforce.
- Work collaboratively to proactively manage organisational risk and provide expert advice and recommendations to assist in ensuring controls measures are effective and in place.
- Collaborate and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by seeking out and engaging with team members, stakeholders, and external partners and support best practice people and culture initiatives.
**Key challenges**
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders with often competing priorities and varying knowledge levels.
- Maintain accurate knowledge of the dynamic and complex strategic framework of the agency and
stakeholders.
- Keep up to date with changing public service policies and guidelines and reporting requirements.
