Based at our North Ryde Corporate Office, and reporting to the Manager of Information Security & Risk, you will be responsible for the Technology & Digital investigation. You will work across Administering security solutions which include SIEM, Vulnerability Management, Data Loss Prevention, Endpoint Security, Information Protection, IPS/IDS and Privileged Identity Management.
We are looking for someone who has exposure and experience within an ISO 27001 environment, and skilled in cloud technology. You will manage, review, and investigate security logs, incidents, and alerts to identify threats and root causes, whilst working with Security vendors and SOC (SOC - Security Operation Centre).

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Monitoring for attacks, intrusions and unusual, unauthorised, or illegal activity.
- Identifying potential weaknesses and vulnerabilities and implementing measures.
- Owning and troubleshooting support issues relating to security controls.
- Lead and perform audits and technical risk assessments and documenting and maintaining security baselines and guides.
- Performing and/or assisting with maintenance of security systems e.g. upgrades, patches
- Assisting with the implementation of new security projects and initiatives as required
- Collaborating with the creation, maintenance, and delivery of cyber security awareness training for colleagues.
- Engaging in ‘ethical hacking' to simulate security breaches.
- Reviewing users' accesses and permissions with the information owners.
- Generating security statistics and/or reports for management reviews.

**Skills & Experience**:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications (IT / Engineering)
- Min 4-5 years' experience in a similar role
- Individuals holding security certifications, like CISSP, CEH, ECSA, SCCP, GSEC, GCIH, will be preferred
- Good understanding of cybersecurity frameworks like ISO 27001, Essential 8, NIST, and/or CIS.
- Experience in cloud and OT security will be preferred.
- Ability to build, collaborate and maintain relationships and communicate across many different functions and organisation levels
- Demonstrate problem solving ability to understand an issue and identify potential solutions
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines and fast paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
