Polite Playground: the creative and experiential studio that brings the fun to events through content creation and digital engagement, is seeking Photo Booth Operators & Photographers.

Born from a love of photography, events and Instagram, the Polite Playground team create live experiences that people get excited about, and use smart technology to capture and share them.

In 2020, market leaders Polite Social and Social Playground, joined forces to become Polite Playground. As we now emerge from covid stronger than ever, we’re growing our team with rockstar talent.

We are known for our innovative approach to briefs, and our expertise in delivering live amplification of content both pre, during and post event. We specialise in photo, GIF, video and gamification.

We work with emerging clients like Bumble, Instagram, Facebook, and traditional ones such as Coca-Cola, MasterCard, ANZ, Microsoft, Virgin and Adidas.

**The Role**

We’re looking for smart, outgoing and personable Photo Booth Operators & Photographers to run our products at events, including:

- Photo Booths
- Video Booths
- Event Tech and more

In this role you’re the face of the agency and the clients we serve.

Our Operators are energetic, tech savvy and highly capable working in a team or on their own. You will:

- Collect and deliver our equipment onsite (must have a car and license)
- Bump in and set up as per staff brief
- Proactively engage and have fun with event attendees
- Capture high quality content, either through DSLR or iPad photography/videography
- Liaise with the client and communicate proficiently
- Troubleshoot any technical issues capably (software and hardware)
- Provide post-event reporting to the wider team

Ideally, you’ve gained a minimum of the below experience/skills:

- 1+ years experience in AV, production or event management, with a particular focus on the technical aspects
- 1+ years consumer-facing experience such as retail, promotions, hospitality or events
- Either professional or hobby experience with a DSLR camera - extra points for any video/audio experience
- Experience learning new software programs with a proven ability to learn quickly and understand technical workflows
- Proven ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and manage stressful situations in a positive and professional manner
- Driver’s license and your own reliable vehicle

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
