**Corporate Information Officer**

**Fixed Term Full Time until (unit 9 September 2025)**

**Location: Morwell**

**Salary: $71,433.96 - $76,185.72 plus 11.5% superannuation**

An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced administrator to join the Corporate Information team as Corporate Information Officer on a full time, fixed term basis.

**About the Role**

In this role you will be responsible for providing accurate, effective and efficient records and information management services to Council. You will undertake a variety of activities including mail and correspondence management, file management and archives management, while also providing administrative support and customer service across the organisation.

Responsibilities include:

- Assessing, classifying and registering incoming physical and digital mail into the councils approved Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS).
- Creating new physical document files daily and manage the opening and closing of archive boxes in conjunction with electronic file requirements.
- Ensuring records registered into the EDRMS are classified and indexed appropriately.
- Locating and retrieving physical or digital files as required.
- Providing quality customer service to inquiries relating to records and information management operations.

- **Post-secondary qualifications or a post-trade certificate and / or demonstrated equivalent relevant experience.**:

- **Demonstrated experience working within a structured office environment with records management requirements.**:

- **Proven interpersonal skills to deliver concise and timely information.**:
