**Full job description**

Home Caring Ryde/Eastwood is an ethical and fast-growing provider of NDIS and Aged Care services in the north of Sydney.

We are seeking at least one experienced **FEMALE** In-home NDIS Support Workers to assist with the provision of high-quality exceptional care to our NDIS clients at Rydalmere and participants currently engaged.

Our Support Workers are home-based and utilise a mobile work model (with electronic support for administration), attracting a travel reimbursement and ongoing training opportunities, appropriate to client need.

There is scope for our support staff to work specifically with NDIS participants, Aged Care clients or a mix of both.
- **Shifts available: Mon & Tue 3pm to 9pm, Sat & Sun 3pm to 9pm (alternative week)**_

**Main responsibilities and activities may include**:

- Assistance with domestic duties such as cleaning and meal preparation.
- Possibly personal care.
- Prompting for medication administration.
- Community access or medical appointments transport.
- Light administrative duties (record maintenance, reporting).

**Requirements**:

- **Must be female and able to speak fluent English**:

- **Full driver license and own vehicle essential**:

- **Must have experiences working with NDIS participants**:

- **Valid NDIS Clearance**:

- **Must wear masks at work unless on break**:

- Pay attention to details e.g. keeping noise down when the client is resting
- A genuine passion to work alongside participants/the elderly and to make a positive and lasting difference in their lives
- Excellent communication skills, commitment to a person-centred focus and flexibility to support needs based on individual circumstances
- Resilience and compassion
- Worker Screening check
- Qualification in Disability, Aged Care or related field preferred
- Current CPR or First Aid certificate (or applying)
- Current National Police check
- The right to work in Australia
- Full Covid-19 vaccination

Pay: $37.01 - $43.29 per hour

Expected hours: 12 per week

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Morning shift
- Public holidays
- Weekend availability

Supplementary Pay:

- Penalty rates

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- NDIS Clearance (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
