**Responsibilities**:

- Provide support and assistance to individuals with complex behaviours.
- Implement behaviour management plans to promote positive and appropriate behaviours.
- Administer medications as prescribed, ensuring proper dosage and documentation.
- Monitor and report any changes in behaviour or medication effectiveness.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised support plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of interactions and interventions.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working with individuals with complex behaviours.
- Excellent understanding of behaviour management techniques and strategies.
- Proficient in medication management, including administering and documenting medications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Empathy, patience, and compassion towards individuals with complex needs.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and handle challenging behaviours.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Fairfield, QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Support work with complex behaviours: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (required)
- Working with Children Check (required)
- National Police Certificate (required)
- Driver Licence (required)
- NDIS screening check (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
