Report to the AML Compliance Officer, the AML Team Lead will lead the 1st Line KYC team. This team is responsible for monitoring client behaviour, transactions and accounts and reviewing ACIP and KYC refresh, remediation projects and sanctions. The role involves leading and mentoring the Line 1 KYC team in its role of identifying, assessing and taking appropriate action with accounts that may exhibit unusual suspicious behaviour.

**What you will do**
- Monitoring team WIP and working to develop operational processes.
- _Performing enhanced due diligence checks and _transaction monitoring _by compiling source of funds/source of wealth information from various sources._
- Implementation of any guidance from 2nd LoD including reviewing and updating any processes/procedures associated with 1st LoD operations.
- Quality assurance and sample testing.
- Assisting with providing metrics for reporting.
- Setting of KPI’s and performance of team members.
- Lodging Suspicious Matter Reports and other reports with AUSTRAC as required.

**Who we’re looking for**
- Ability to confidentially empower and lead a team with high emotional intelligence.
- Knowledge of the wagering industry and/or Entain’s systems and processes.
- Understanding or prior experience with KYC, sanctions and transaction monitoring.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to be analytical.
- Excellent time self-management skills.
- Ability to manage sensitive information in a highly confidential manner.
- Ability to document investigation results and provide sound rationale and recommendations for review.
- Capacity to build rapport with customers and stakeholders.
