The Westpac Group has a complex Information Technology environment that needs to deliver to the rapidly changing needs of our customers and employees, the ever-evolving IT landscape and the Group's regulatory and statutory requirements.

**How will I help?**

The **Infrastructure Services Manager **is the primary engagement point and vital linkage between all infrastructure domains and the respective business divisions you are servicing. You will understand, interpret, and ensure alignment of infrastructure strategies, goals, plans, performance and risks for consumption by the division. You will need to understand the business division expectations for all services and drive the infrastructure domains to deliver a highly valued, efficient, integrated service for the business domain. Understanding business and technology strategies and key programs/initiatives, you will work to drive alignment to Infrastructure strategy and roadmap. In alignment with the technology service management function, you will ensure the infrastructure domains are delivering valuable operational services in alignment with Group Technology operational targets.

The role will include following responsibilities and is not limited to
- In this role you will be responsible for all matters relating to the operational management and support from predominantly the WBC AS400, OpenVMS and HP Non-Stop systems in the Specialised Hosting Services Domain.
- Leadership, Support, Risk, Compliance, Finance, Issues, Incidents, Problem, Change, Audit, Disaster Recovery will be your core responsibilities, you find them intriguing and know how the work together to help run an organisation.

- Delivery of new market data infrastructure to meet business and vendor platform requirements.
- Upgrades of existing market data infrastructure and related software products.
- Troubleshooting and maintenance of market data infrastructure.
- Out of hours support/escalation of market data infrastructure issues raised by offshore IT teams for example London, Singapore, New York, and New Zealand.
- Monitoring and capacity management of market data infrastructure.

Your extensive background in Infrastructure, management and technical acumen has set you up for this journey. From Midrange to Security, Networks and Storage, you know how it hangs together because you have played there before. You can talk Tech, but you are more than comfortable Communicating at all levels of the Business and Technical Domains. You will have a good understanding of AS400, OpenVMS and HP Non-Stop systems and the infrastructure that supports them and your ability to understand, diagnose, direct, and resolve issues is unmatched. - A proven track record in leading highly technical teams in both an insourced and outsourced environment.
- Leading, Developing and Growing the team in accordance with Westpac’s people principles and processes.
- A **background in managing midrange systems such AS400, OpenVMS, HP Non-Stop and AIX systems **in a complex environment.
- Extensive knowledge across Infrastructure Technology, ability to communicate and translate Infrastructure terms for Business consumption.
