Retina Visions is a leading computer vision AI company based in South Brisbane, specialising in data collection for road and footpath assets. We work with councils and governments to ensure the maintenance and safety of public spaces through advanced AI technology.

**Position Overview**:
We are looking for a dedicated Quality Assurance Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and validating images of road and footpath defects—such as potholes, cracks, and graffiti—detected by our computer vision models. Your job will involve approving or rejecting these detections to ensure accuracy before the data is sent to our customers.

This is a critical role that guarantees the quality and reliability of the automated data capture, helping us deliver top-notch results to our clients.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Review images of road and footpath defects detected by our AI system.
- Approve or reject defects such as potholes, cracks, graffiti, faded signs etc. based on company standards.
- Ensure the accuracy and quality of data before it is delivered to the customer.
- Collaborate with the team to maintain high-quality output.

**Requirements**:

- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies.
- Basic understanding of road and footpath infrastructure is a plus (training provided).
- Ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with computer programs and systems for image review (training provided).

**Work Environment**:
Our office is based in South Brisbane, but staff can choose to work entirely remotely or come into the office at their convenience. We offer a flexible working environment to suit your preferences while ensuring a productive and collaborative atmosphere.
