This role will provide security expertise and technical leadership skills, including leading the analysis, planning and implementation of security controls, to support project delivery.
Responsibilties:

- provide input to the definition of projects and programs of work to realise architecture deliverables and outcomes.
- develop architecture vision and strategic roadmaps, principles, standards and guidelines.
- provide expert guidance on the development of technology strategies based on emerging technologies, standards, innovations and industry trends in alignment with new and evolving business competencies.
- undertake proof of concept projects that evaluate concepts and new technologies.
- review proposals and prepare technical reports on potential impacts on current and future strategic directions and architectures.
- manage the alignment of architecture deliverables to enterprise strategies and directions.

Experience
- Knowledge and experience with information security controls frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF
- In-depth knowledge of cyber security better practices, principles and technologies.
- Demonstrated experience with data classification, risk assessments, controls assessments, and cyber security reviews
- Demonstrated experience providing cyber and information security technical leadership
- Demonstrated experience in cyber and information security in large and complex organisations; such as Qld Government, Government transport or similar organisations.
