**The Role**
We have a permanent role available for a senior Level 1 support engineer to join our organisation on the service desk.
You will be required to do basic hardware support such as moving pc’s or changing cartridges in printers.
This is a senior Level 1 role so this should not be your first helpdesk position you need to have had some experience and preferably within a clinical environment. You must possess excellent problem-solving skills and you need to be able to prioritise and balance multiple tasks.
The successful applicant must be self-motivated, hardworking, enthusiastic, reliable and be willing to work. Customer service is paramount, so strong communications skills are a must.
**You will be involved with**:

- A small help desk engineering team, that take support calls as well as deliver support and solutions to technical cases
- device support at a software level including; Printers, windows terminals, iGel terminals, entertainment systems (medical); Nurse-call devices connecting to technology; PA equipment; etc
- Answering of service desk calls and assisting people with technical issues
- logging and assigning cases to support technicians within IT and building services
- 24/7 support roster (when fully trained and will be paid an extra allowance when on call)

**Essential Skills and experiences**:

- Experience with Windows 10
- Knowledge of Office & Office 365
- PC operating and connection experience
- Well-spoken and customer focused
