This clerical position is based over multiple sites including, Sunshine, Footscray & Williamstown Hospitals. The Ward Clerk role is responsible for the clerical and receptionist duties of the ward or clinic. This role also involves the coordination of the telecommunications and administrative traffic throughout the area and supports the Nursing & Medical staff on the ward with clerical aspects of patients, ward &/or clinic administration.

**To be Successful in this Role you**

**Must have advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Have proven high level front line customer service skills in both face to face and telephone experience.
- Must be available to work a non-restrictive roster that includes day, afternoon, nights and weekends across all Western Health campuses.
- Must display highly developed interpersonal skills. Have the ability to communicate both effectively & professionally in a complex & busy environmentto all disciplines within the health service including patients & visitors.
- Have proven experience maintaining data bases with input of accurate data.
