Contribute to the provision of a high quality imaging service for CT radiological diagnosis.

Assessing the condition of the patient and modifying techniques accordingly to achieve acceptable diagnostic outcomes.
Ensuring all relevant patient and examination data is completed and accurately recorded and entered into the Radiology Management System, including the preparation of any reports for the referring clinician

The Supervisor/Specialist Radiographer CT is responsible for allocating and determining work priorities of the CT medical imaging team to ensure operational standards are met, having regard to the needs of clients.

The incumbent contributes to an effective and coordinated CT service by assisting the Head Radiographer CT to manage the physical and human resources.

The incumbent is responsible for the provision of CT procedures using specialised equipment to perform complex medical imaging examinations for clients across a range of clinical specialities with a high level of professional independence.

The incumbent continues to obtain CT specialist knowledge, contributes to developing professional knowledge of other radiographers and to professional CT standards.

The incumbent undertakes routine research programs and assists with coordinating CT quality assurance programs.

**Educational/Vocational Qualifications**:

- Licensed under the Radiation Protection and Control Act SA (1982)
- Registration as a Radiographer with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia
- Experience in performing a wide range of more complex CT imaging procedures
- Demonstrated ability to assess and select clinical and technical examination requirements according to client condition
