**About the Role**:
This exciting role heads up our store renewal and new store design development program and plays a key role in managing our investment strategy and delivery of new stores and refurbishments throughout the store fleet for all Brands. Use your background in project management, people leadership and retail design to bring our new store and renewal strategy to life.

The program typically extends to 20 new Coles Supermarkets (inc Coles Local), 40 new Liquor Stores, 50 Coles Supermarket and up to 200 Coles Liquor refurbishments, delivered by a team of 25 people, 3 of them direct reports.

You will also:

- Develop criteria and define the investment strategy
- Create business cases with accurate budget and financial detail
- Oversee several direct reports with a focus on guidance and development, and high quality delivery
- Plan and approve projects for delivery within the corporate plan timeline

**About you and your skills**:
You will have:

- Extensive (8 years +) experience in leading complex program implementation preferably within a large corporate environment
- Strong commercial acumen with a focus on design and costing of projects
- A detailed knowledge of retail design and financial commercial metrics
- Previous experience managing and presenting to a large and diverse set of stakeholders
- Strong people leadership to drive accountability and performance across the team
- A relevant qualification in an architectural / construction discipline or store planning is preferred
