**Role Overview**:
As a Grant Writer at Ignite Purpose, you'll serve as a linchpin in securing crucial funding and resources from government agencies to underpin our mission-driven initiatives and programs. Your role will entail meticulous research, strategic proposal development, and seamless coordination with internal teams to align grant proposals with our overarching goals. This role presents a thrilling opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects that catalyze positive societal impacts.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- ** Grant Proposal Development**:
- Conduct comprehensive research to identify government grant opportunities at various levels.
- Collaborate with program managers to craft persuasive grant proposals that encapsulate our mission, goals, and intended impact.
- Craft clear, concise, and compelling grant narratives, budgets, and supporting documents.
- **Grant Management and Compliance**:
- Maintain meticulous records of grant activities and outcomes and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with finance and program teams to track expenditures and monitor project progress.
- **Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Building**:
- Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with government agencies and grant-making organizations.
- Represent Ignite Purpose at various forums to raise awareness of our programs and funding needs.
- Forge strategic partnerships to maximize grant acquisition efforts.
- **Grant Research and Prospect Development**:
- Continuously research and identify new government grant opportunities aligned with our mission.
- Stay abreast of changes in funding priorities and regulations to adapt grant strategies accordingly.
- Proactively seek collaboration opportunities to enhance grant acquisition efforts.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Public Policy, Nonprofit Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven track record in grant writing and management roles, with a focus on securing government grants.
- Exceptional writing skills, coupled with strong research and analytical abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, both independently and collaboratively.
**Compensation**:
