Are you an experienced HR professional looking to take the next step in your career with an iconic global brand? At Levi Strauss & Co, we’re looking for a proactive and solutions-focused HR Advisor to partner with our Retail & Wholesale teams across Australia and New Zealand.
You’ll play a key role in driving people initiatives, supporting leaders, and delivering HR services that empower our teams to thrive. Working closely with the HR Business Partner, you’ll balance hands-on operational support with meaningful HR projects, ensuring consistency, compliance, and a people-first approach.
What you’ll be doing
- Partner with leaders across Retail & Wholesale to provide generalist HR advice and support
- Drive recruitment and onboarding processes that attract, engage, and retain talent aligned to Levi’s® values
- Manage annual performance and succession planning to build a culture of high performance
- Provide advice on employee relations and Award interpretation, ensuring compliance and fair processes
- Support workplace injury management, WorkCover, and leave processes
- Deliver and embed global HR initiatives into the ANZ business
- Oversee HR data integrity and partner with Payroll to ensure smooth employee lifecycle processes
- Lead HR projects, policy reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Guide and mentor the HR Administrator to ensure seamless HR operations
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field
- Minimum 5 years’ HR generalist experience, ideally in a multi-site retail or wholesale environment
- Strong knowledge of employment law, Awards/Agreements (particularly the Retail Award), and HR compliance
- Proficiency with HRIS (Workday experience highly regarded)
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- A collaborative style with the confidence to advise and coach leaders at all levels
