**Job Description for Barista**:
**As a Barista at Purgreens**, you will be an ambassador for our mission: building healthier communities by connecting people to real food. We love team players, and your passion for creating high-quality beverages and providing excellent customer service will be key to the team's success. You'll have the support of your manager and team to create an experience our customers will love.

**What You’ll Do**: These responsibilities highlight some of the key functions a Purgreens Barista will perform. They include but are not limited to:

- **Hospitality & Brand Ambassadorship**: Greet customers, providing an exceptional customer experience from hello to goodbye; offer information on our beverage menu and food ethos.
- **Beverage Preparation**: Learn the beverage menu, and prepare coffees and other hot and cold drinks following Purgreens recipes and standards.
- **Manual Operation of Tools**: Safely operate tools and equipment related to beverage preparation, such as espresso machines, blenders, etc.
- **Cleanliness & Food Safety**: Follow food safety standards; maintain a clean and organised workstation throughout your shift.
- **Restaurant Organization & Support**: Assist with general restaurant tasks when needed, and keep the beverage area stocked and clean.

**Physical Requirements**: Lift up to 11 kilograms, and stand for extended periods.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Must be available to work a minimum of 12 hours per week.
- Must be 16 years of age or older.
- Must be authorised to work in Australia.
