**About the role**:
We have an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team leading our approach to the provision of quality care to clients of the Department/Service. The role includes but not limited to:

- Operational leadership of the Community Access & Assessment Team.
- Ensure that vulnerable people with complex needs are provided with high quality person
- centred healthcare, including assessment, support and referral.
- Maintain strong partnerships with key stakeholders in accordance with the mission and values of St Vincent’s Health Australia.
- Ensure service provision is person-centred, recovery orientated and aligned with the principles of trauma informed care and practice.
- Ensure the implementation of hospital/health network policies and procedures; the dissemination of information and ensure a safe environment for staff and patients
- Direction, coordination and supervision of the human resources under their management and safe and efficient clinical practice.
- Promote a culture of learning and support Community Access & Assessment Team members to actively participate in Continuing Professional Development, including clinical supervision.
- Assume a leadership role in establishing and developing the Community Access and Assessment Team within the Homeless Health and Community Mental Health Service.
- Participate in professional committees relevant to the service, including internal hospital committees and state or national advisory committees.

**Selection Criteria**:
1. Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries.
2. Tertiary qualifications in related to Health discipline and/or relevant experience.
3. Demonstrated experience leading services that provide health care and support to vulnerable people with complex health and support needs.
4. Demonstrated experience in the development, implementation and evaluation of innovative healthcare programs or services and partnerships.
5. Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the principles of trauma-informed care and utilisation of a strengths-based framework to effectively manage and lead a clinical team.
6. Ability to negotiate, influence and work collaboratively with a range of key stakeholders throughout various organisational levels.
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including demonstrated experience with public speaking, report writing and computer literacy.
8. Current NSW Driver's License.
