**THE OPPORTUNITY**

This is an outstanding, career opportunity to join a market leader as a National Operations Manager. Reporting directly to the Group Head of Operations, you will have full responsibility for delivering excellence in specialist services to a high value and demanding account portfolio, leading a national team and driving exceptional customer outcomes in 24/7 client contracts.

You will play a key leadership role in positioning the organisation for significant growth through national specialisation and in doing so, have significant career opportunities.

**THE OPPORTUNITY -** You will
- Be responsible for the financial performance of your business unit, delivering gross margin and growth targets
- Develop a continuous improvement approach for client delivery and satisfaction that is industry leading
- Work closely with clients to ensure engagement and service levels are are being surpassed
- Prepare and deliver client, business and board reporting that enables long tenured and trusted relationships
- Maintain and nurture relationships with sub contracting companies
- Lead from the front to develop a high performing team that is highly engaged
- Drive efficiencies through rostering of labour, resourcing and pipelining of staff to optimise margin and growth opportunities for your specialist business
- Support the mentoring & development of State-based leaders
- Actively contribute to strategic planning for the business as a whole, board presentations and people engagement
- Comply with WHS policies and regulatory requirements to deliver effective and safe people practices.

**YOUR BACKGROUND** - You will have
- A successful background as a senior leader of large managed services or labour hire businesses
- Demonstrated experience in delivering service excellence to customers and managing contracted KPI delivery models
- A growth and continuous improvement mindset
- A natural and hands on leadership style, with a penchant for nurturing and developing, managers, and teams
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills that is relatable to all audiences
- Experience in forging respectful and commercial, customer, executive and industry, relationships
- Capabilities in identifying and securing growth opportunities that are commercial for customers and your business
- A strategic and commercial lens for services business
- A customer centric approach that makes you a pleasure to deal with
