THe Workforce Strategy & Design Manager is accountable for ensuring that Healthscope has the workforce it needs today and into the future.
This role has 2 key focusses. One is to lead the development of workforce strategies including the establishment a strategic workforce planning capability for Healthscope that will enable the workforce modelling and analytics required to improve performance, address workforce challenges, facilitate staff mobility and support business decision making over different time horizons. Another important workforce strategy includes designing and developing national early career programs to ensure adequate workforce pipelines and positioning Healthscope as an employer of choice. The second key focus is to shape and lead workforce design initiatives that review roles and responsibilities across the organisation to identify alternative models and options for tasks including the use of technology and automation.
With outstanding thought leadership, strategic business advice and stakeholder engagement, this role will develop, gain buy in on and implement strategies, frameworks and programs. This role requires someone who is commercially astute, excited by transformation, happy to roll their sleeves up and adaptive.
As a critical member of the Workforce Design and Supply leadership team, this role will work closely with Talent Acquisition/Strategic Souring and Learning to ensure we have the right buy and build strategies in place to meet our workforce demand. The role will work with Operations leadership team and site-based leadership teams to ensure that programs are impactful and sustained.
Key Accountabilities
Improve Experiences:
- Set up and run a strategic workforce planning capability to help identify workforce opportunities for Healthscope across different time horizons
- Scope and drive workforce redesign initiatives that will deliver both employee and business benefits through role design, use of technology and automation and ultimately provide a point of differentiation for Healthscope in the market
- Help position Healthscope as a destination employer by defining and developing a suite of early career programs that deliver a superior student and graduate experience so that early career employees want to develop their career at Healthscope and become our future leaders
Grow our Business:
- Leverage and roll up tactical workforce planning data to obtain insights around enterprise wide capability and capacity opportunities
- Define a suite of prioritised enterprise-wide strategies over the immediate, medium and long term to address identified workforce opportunities
- Partner with key stakeholders to facilitate early career and other career transition programs that attract and retain people
- Track, measure and report on the change, and track benefits
