**About the role**

The Central Sterilisation Supply Department (CSSD) at Western Health is seeking a highly motivated and suitably qualified person to join our leadership team as a CSSD Instrument Technician Manager at Sunshine CSSD.

The CSSD Instrument Technician Manager’s role is pivotal in supporting the daily operation of the department. This role is both a managerial and hands-on role.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Support and mange the team to ensure quality outcomes
- Support the Sterilisation Services Manager
- Play a key role in education of staff
- Support the auditing and quality processes in CSSD
- Support and maintain the computerised tracking system with data entry

**About you**:

- Hold Certificate 4 in Sterilisation
- Possess a relevant Post Graduate qualification or relevant clinical experience
- Demonstrate effective management skills appropriate for a manager’s role
- Demonstrate effective communication skills both written and verbal
- Possess well developed interpersonal skills including conflict resolution strategies
- Possess a knowledge of relevant standards, legislation, policies and human resource procedures
