**Job Description**:
Perform inspection and testing activities including, but not limited to:
- Engineering Inspections for various industrial equipment;
- QA/QC surveillance Inspections;
- Welding Inspections (CSWIP 3.1 or equivalent)
- Pressure Vessel Inspections;
- Pre/Post-Shipment Inspections;
- Cargo Surveys;
- Inspection of Pipes and Structures;
- Conventional NDT skills preferred
- Tank inspections experience desirable
Other Specific Responsibilities:
- Ensure all tasks are completed and delivered in a timely manner to meet client expectations and compliance requirements.
- Complete accurate reports in a timely manner to ensure all information reported is delivered as per client time frame.
- Liaise with clients to initiate and carry out their requirements to maintain optimum client satisfaction.
- Perform all activities in a safety-conscious manner to ensure compliance of all SGS and client OHS requirements.
- Identify potential business opportunities in area of inspections
It is required to have:
- AICIP or a combination of API510 + API 570
- Welding Inspector CSWIP 3.1 or equivalent
It is an advantage to have:
- API 571- Corrosion and Materials
- API 577-Welding Inspection and Metallurgy
- Level 2 in RT
- ISO 7507-4 Vertical Storage Tank Calibration
- Qualification in UT, MT, PT ASNT/PCN/BiNDT Level 2 is preferred.
**Qualifications**:
- Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
- Previous experience working in a similar role with technical and professional knowledge in inspection services.
- Awareness of AS/ASME standards.
