**About the role**:
We are seeking enthusiastic, passionate, and caring individuals to join our team supporting people living with disabilities. Your work will support people to achieve their individual lifestyle goals. At Felicity Holistic Care we support people of all ages and interests so each workday will be different and innovative. You will work with clients in the Community, providing a one on one service. As a support worker you will support the independent living of clients trough personal care, community participation and assistance with daily personal activities.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Provide one on one direct care assistance to each client in accordance with their care plan and as directed.
- Provide personal care and assistance with housework.
- Monitor the safety and well-being of the clients and report any concerns to supervisor.
- Support clients to access activities and outings in the community.
- Manage accurate and detailed shift reports, incident reports and progress notes.
- Work with client, family/carer, relevant case manager and other professional to support the client’s individual goals.
- Actively contribute to a team environment through open communication and participation in regular staff meetings.
- Participate in performance development meetings to identifying ongoing training and support opportunities.
- This role is required to take on short shifts, as well as longer shifts where possible.

**To be considered for this role, you MUST provide the following**:

- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Minimum of 1 year paid work experience in supporting people with disabilities
- Satisfactory Working With Children's Check (Employee)
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Current Driver’s License & your own car
- Covid-19 Vaccination record
- A Certificate III or IV in one of the following or equivalent: Individual Support/ Home & Community Care/ Aged Care/ Disability/ Nursing If you are currently enrolled in one of these courses, or an equivalent course, we would love to hear from you

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $33.00 - $69.00 per hour

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification and CPR (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
