**The role**
The primary purpose of this 12-month contract role is to lead the compliance and assurance activities across all Government Services contracts to provide assurance of adherence with Commonwealth and State contractual and legislative obligations.
**You'll be responsible for**
- Leading overseeing and implementing routine testing and monitoring of quality compliance controls to mitigate the risk of non-compliance relating to both contractual and internal policy and procedure, legislative and regulatory requirements, data quality and customer experience standards.
- Undertaking and leading the delivery of quality independent reviews relating to the compliance and quality obligations of all Government Services contracts and business.
- Leading initiatives that support the business in the achievement of the required standards for key performance indicators, quality and operational measures and service standards to optimise financial performance.
- Providing advice and recommendations to the Government Service Senior Leadership team on performance results against targets and areas of improvement identified during independent reviews, testing and other quality assurance activities.
- Proactively identifying business improvement opportunities and collaborate with key stakeholders to implement initiatives.
- Assisting with regulatory requirements and responses including the drafting of management reports, updated and independent review results.
**About you**
- Extensive technical experience in workers compensation service delivery.
- Demonstrated experience in assurance or audit within a claim and/or financial services industry.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the NSW workers compensation and regulation.
- Proven experience in people leadership
- Proven analytical and critical thinking capability to interpret a range of data, identify patterns, trends and links that inform judgments and solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly developed consulting and influencing skills, demonstrating the ability to co-create strategy and valuable analytical solutions with key business stakeholders.
