**DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES**
Scales and combines ingredients using power equipment to prepare various types of baked goods. Rolls, cuts, and shapes products.
Uses various kitchen instruments when preparing various scratch and frozen items. Dates ingredients, products, and stores for future use.
Uses and monitors proof-box, setting of temperature, humidity, and timers.
Uses and monitors gas fired rack ovens, setting temperature, and timers. Removes rack of baked product from oven for cooling. Follows production sheets for Order of Production.
Follows Standard Sanitation Operating Procedure (SSOP) guidelines as it refers to proper cleaning and sanitation of all equipment required by this position. Completes and complies with 11 Commandments of Quality Assurance, Food Safety Certification, and all safety training required by warehouse and Bakery Department.
Assists with other Bakery duties as needed. Assists in other departments of the warehouse as necessary.
Provides prompt and courteous customer service to members, employees, and suppliers.
**Experience Bakery or comparable experience**
**Licenses and Certifications Level 1 Food Safety Certification; Hazardous Materials Training - Module 1 (within 30 days) Bakery trade qualifications**
**Non-Essential Functions and Tasks**:
Assists other areas in the department as necessary.
Assists in other departments of the warehouse as necessary.
Operates mechanical trash compactor/cardboard baler.
