We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Disability Services Care Coordinator to join our team.

In the capacity of Disability Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for responding to staffing requests, rostering staff to clients and meeting the expectations of our clients, participants and referring organisations in a timely manner.

Key responsibilities:

- Developing and maintaining rosters to achieve efficiency and maximise the use of resources available
- Rostering of support staff and ensuring all client services are filled in a timely manner
- Utilising workforce to cover shift shortfalls
- Scheduling training sessions for staff to ensure compliance and upskilling
- Answering phone calls and assisting with client and stakeholder enquiries
- Providing advice and support to support workers, administration staff and management team throughout the workforce planning, documentation, monitoring and revisions processes,
- Collaborating with participants, therapy teams and funding bodies to achieve set outcomes and participants goals,
- Monitoring service provisions in line with funding budgets,
- Maintaining participant activity records, accurate roster system data base in Visual Care and participant specific documentation,
- Client home visits on a regular basis to maintain cohesive relationship with your client case load to ensure a clear understanding of how the program is running
- Attend regular team meetings and monthly supervision
- Knowledge of NDIS and TAC plans and funding,
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, standards, and regulations.

Essential qualifications, experience, and screening
- Full Covid 19 Vaccinations - including booster 1,
- Tertiary level qualification in Disability or minimum 2 years equivalent experience in disability coordination role,
- Working with Children Check - Employment Type,
- NDIS Worker Screen Check Clearance
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence
- Minimum two professional referee checks (Supervisor/Manager)

**About you**

Key to the success in this role is demonstrated ability in the below skills and experience.
- Prior experience essential in a similar role within the Aged Care or Disability Industry
- Demonstrated experience in a similar high-volume staff rostering and scheduling role.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of rostering and scheduling processes.
- Experience using Visual Care or similar rostering and scheduling software (Experience using Visual Care is highly regarded).
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Moderate competency in Microsoft Office skills.
- Ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders.
- Accuracy and attention to detail with data entry.
- Understanding of industrial relations, awards, and agreements and how they impact

Rosters
- Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and high level of resilience; and
- 2 or more years of previous experience of rostering, scheduling, or labour-hire, preferably in the Communities Services sector, specifically Disability.
- Strong planning and organisation skills with good attention to detail

A clear NDIS Workers Clearance Check and Working with Children Check are a condition of employment in this position.
