Martin’s Trailer Parts is seeking to fill several PERMANENT FULL-TIME LONG-TERM roles in BAYSWATER and O’CONNOR. You will need to have full Australian working rights and reside in Perth, Western Australia, to fulfil this role.

We are interested in mechanically minded individuals who are physically fit, have the capacity to work unsupervised and have an excellent work ethic for three roles;
- **Parts Interpreter Salesperson** (Bayswater)
- **CNC Machinist** (Class 1 or Class 2) (Bayswater)
- **General hand** (O’Connor)

**POSITION REQUIREMENTS - #1 Parts Interpreter Salesperson**

The sales team is service-oriented and customer-centric. To successfully fulfill this role, you will be required to;
- **Guide** retail customers and commercial clients in identifying and sourcing products, prices, availability, and product features.
- **Provide** specialist advice and technical product knowledge to ensure customer satisfaction.
- **Process** orders efficiently and liaise with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.
- **Collaborate** with stores, workshop and quality teams to enhance the overall customer experience.
- **Manage** warranties, refunds, special-order parts, and approved credits for customers when necessary and appropriate for customers in accordance with company procedure.

**Ideally, this role is for someone who is**:

- **Experienced** in parts interpreting, or a related role
- **Knowledgeable** of trailer/automotive components
- **Proactive** in their problem-solving approach to customer
- **Proficient** with inventory management software and point-of-sale systems

**POSITION REQUIREMENTS - #2 CNC Machinist**

Primarily responsible for the entire process from raw to finished product on a dedicated CNC machine. You may also operate other CNC machines as required in a secondary capacity, so flexibility and adaptability are vital aspects of the role. Duties Include:
1. **Operate** CNC machines to manufacture parts to precise specifications,

2. **Configure** machines for new production runs,

3. **Interpret** technical blueprints, schematics, and drawings,

4. **Adjust** machine settings to achieve the desired product specifications,

5. **Inspect** finished products for quality and accuracy standards,

6. **Troubleshoot** and resolve problems as they arise,

7. **Collaborate** with team members and the workshop supervisor to optimise processes and achieve production targets,

8. **Maintain** a clean, safe and quality-controlled work environment with accurate production records and documentation.

**Ideally, this role is for someone who is**:

- **Focused**on qualitywork ethic, flexiblework style and reliablework output,
- **Qualified** in CNC machining with trade qualifications or certifications
- **Experienced** with programming, setting, and machining on both CNC vertical and horizontal lathes
- **Capable** of working autonomously and with high levels of initiative
- **Familiar** with the use and calibration of various measuring equipment,
- **Adept** at operating more than one machine simultaneously,
- **Accomplished** English language skills (written & verbal).
- **Proficient** in correctly reading and understanding engineering drawings
- Desirable; Machinist First Class qualified
- Desirable: experience with Doosan/Okuma machines
- Desirable: experience in creating technical drawings and machining to strict tolerances.

**POSITION REQUIREMENTS - #3 General hand (O’Connor)**

This role is a physical jack of all trades type of role. Experience in manual handling, warehousing duties (receive/dispatch), forklift operation, inventory control, as well as comfort and confident on computers and customer interaction (on phone and in person) is ideal. To successfully fulfil this role, you will be required to:
1. **Receive**, inspect, unpack and store incoming parts

2. **Prepare** and package parts for dispatch/shipment

3. **Update** the inventory management system

4. **Process** customer orders, in person or over the phone

5. **Assist** customers in identifying appropriate trailer parts and accessories

6. **Maintain** accurate records of customer requests, orders and sales,

7. **Collaborate** with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts

8. **Comply** with safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment
