Childcare Centre HR Manager

**About the role**

This is an exciting opportunity to join Titan Early Learning Pty Ltd as an HR Manager. Reporting to the Directors, you will be responsible for leading the strategic direction and day-to-day management of the human resources function for this growing early learning organisation. This full-time role will be based in our Balwyn, VIC office.

**What you'll be doing**

1. Lead the recruitment, onboarding, and retention of talented educators and support staff.

2. Manage payroll, benefits, and compensation packages, ensuring that staff are compensated and motivated to perform at their best in collaboration with finance teams.

3. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, awards, and employment law, such as local, state, and federal regulations regarding staff qualifications, child-to-staff ratios, and background checks, ensuring these regulations are met, minimizing legal risks

4. Provide guidance on HR policies, employee relations, and performance management.

5. Develop and enforce workplace policies, including codes of conduct, health and safety protocols, and anti-discrimination policies, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for both staff and children.

6. Foster a positive workplace culture that values collaboration, respect, and professional growth, addressing conflicts, and promoting teamwork and effective communication

7. Organize ongoing professional development opportunities for staff, ensuring they stay updated on best practices in early childhood education, safety protocols, and child development.

8. Oversee employee performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback and identifying areas for improvement to ensure high standards of care and education.

Align staffing needs with the centre's long-term goals, ensuring that the centre has the right team in place to grow and adapt to evolving demands.

**What we're looking for**
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business or a related field
- **3+ years** of experience in an HR management role, ideally within the early learning or education sector
- Demonstrated expertise in all facets of HR, including talent management, employee relations, learning and development, and HR information systems
- Strong strategic and analytical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret data and drive evidence-based decision making
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
- Proactive and solutions-focused approach, with a commitment to continuous improvement
- Solid understanding of employment law and best practice HR principles

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
