We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Rostering Assistant to join our team and contribute to the smooth operation of our scheduling and rostering processes.

**Position Overview**:
As a Junior Rostering Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring that our clients receive timely and effective care by assisting with the management and coordination of staff schedules. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be vital in maintaining an efficient roster that meets the needs of both our clients and our team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the creation and maintenance of staff rosters to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts.
- Monitor and adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes, such as staff absences or client requests.
- Coordinate with care staff to confirm availability and address any scheduling conflicts.
- Maintain accurate records of staff hours, attendance, and shift notes. Provide support to the management team in resolving scheduling issues and optimizing staff allocations.
- Communicate effectively with staff to relay roster updates and address any concerns or inquiries.
- Complete on-call after-hours service on a 6-week rotation, providing support and managing urgent scheduling issues as they arise. An allowance is provided for on-call duties, and additional financial incentives are available for meeting key performance indicators (KPIs).

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in rostering or scheduling is welcome but not mandatory; we value a willingness to learn and grow.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in using rostering and scheduling software or similar tools.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work efficiently under pressure.
- A proactive and problem-solving approach to managing scheduling challenges.
- Understanding of the importance of compliance and confidentiality in a care setting.
