**The Role**

We are currently recruiting for an energetic and passionate Kitchen Hand and is okay to cover **weekend nights shift**.

The position can be either on a full-time or casual basis, with either morning or evening shifts.

**Your key duties and responsibilities will be, but not limited to**:

- Perform opening, closing and side work
- Provide assistance to prep hands and other kitchen staff as needed, especially during peak times
- Keep food preparation areas clean
- Clean kitchen equipment and appliances
- Clean benchtops, floors, ovens and ranges
- Receive, lift, handle and store food deliveries
- Retrieve food items as requested by chefs
- Assist with food preparation
- Operate the industrial dishwasher
- Ensure working areas are kept clear
- Empty and clean all trash receptacles
- Follow sanitation policies at all times
- Report any hygiene or maintenance issues to appropriate party

**Skillset and Experience**
- 2 years relevant experience in a similar role
- Flexibility to work around a varying roster
- Ability to follow directions and safety requirements
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time effectively
- High aptitude for following workplace guidelines, procedures and policies
- Physical endurance to stand for an entire shift
- Ability to work as part of a team
