Ship Repairs Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity for a Ship Repair Assistant located in our **Balmain Shipyard**. Reporting to the Production Managers, you will work as part of a team in assisting our trade staff on the general maintenance of our vessels. Your duties will include docking and maintenance of vessels, general yard clean up, interaction with other staff and contractors as well as responding to breakdown maintenance as required. This role will work to support the team in ensuring the works are completed safely and within expected time constraints.

**What you bring**
We are looking for a proactive and energetic person whose worked in a similar environment. Someone with exposure or qualifications in forklift, working at height, working in confined space, elevator work platform and ideally experienced working with marine vessels. Most importantly we are looking for someone who is eager to learn from their peers and willing to achieve the team’s common goal of providing a safe and enjoyable journey on our vessels.
