Sydney- Wealth Management- PermanentOur client is seeking a talented individual to join their portfolio management function as an Assistant PM. This role is in one of Australia’s fastest growing areas in asset management, exchange traded funds (ETFs).

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with management of the assets of all ETFs
- Ensure all ETFs perform in line with their investment objectives and remain within mandates.
- Prepare daily reconciliations between front office systems and back office/custodian systems.
- Assist with regular fund reporting requirements, including preparation of reports for management, external data vendors, regulators and service providers.
- Assist with production of regular fund and market information for use in marketing materials, presentations and other content.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent.
- Good programming skills in at least one of the following languages: VBA, SQL or Python.
- An understanding of how indices work and are calculated.
- Understanding of risk management.
- Ability to pick up and understand new concepts in a short space of time in a constantly changing environment.
- Seek innovative solutions to problems as they arise, implementing new processes and system developments.
- A solid understanding of Excel, PowerPoint and Bloomberg.
