In this role you will play a critical role in providing integrity advice to the Commissioner of State Revenue and senior executives. You will also collaborate with key integrity stakeholders to ensure compliance with relevant government and organisation policies, codes, legislation and guidelines to maintain government and public trust in QRO.
**Your typical day as Manager, Integrity may include**: - Deliver and report on the strategic and operational plans by identifying and treating existing and emerging integrity risks, and translating the strategy into actions. Investigate integrity risks across people, systems and processes by undertaking complex and sensitive inquiries, reviews and complaints related to probity, integrity and conduct, and brief the Commissioner on status and outcomes. Implement and promote internal integrity, fraud and corruption prevention strategies and education initiatives. Provide advice to the Commissioner and senior Executives on recommended changes to policy, legislation, standards and practices related to integrity, based on research and investigations. Network with internal and external stakeholders to maintain trust and productive relationships.
You will be supported by a positive, constructive team and divisional leaders as you do your work.
**To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate**: - A commitment to a culture driven by personal accountability, while collaborating and supporting team members to achieve our goals. Extensive skills and experience in conducting complex disciplinary inquiries and investigations related to employee conduct, fraud and corruption. Knowledge of contemporary government or corporate governance and integrity frameworks. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including report writing, influencing and negotiation skills. Proven ability to work independently, while also working with teams and building and fostering strong professional relationships. Proven high-level conceptual, analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking abilities with the capability to develop solutions to complex and sensitive problems.
