**About the Role**

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented and self-motivated people leader with strong business development and lending expertise to join us as **Area Manager** for our **Ipswich region**.

In this pivotal role, you will showcase your leadership capabilities and play a key role in driving growth across our Riverlink and Booval branches. Leveraging your deep industry knowledge and proven track record in lending, you will be responsible for delivering strategic business development initiatives, expanding our member base, and building strong relationships within the community.

Your financial acumen and lending expertise will be critical in identifying new opportunities, mentoring your team in best practice lending strategies, and ensuring our members receive exceptional service and tailored financial solutions.

**About You**
- Ability to showcase your strong business development skills with established relationships in the Ipswich community
- Strong lending experience
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Personal commitment to and visible role modelling of the organisation’s behaviours and values
- A willingness and passion to get involved in the local community
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, including negotiation, time management and conflict resolution
